Test Protocol (TP) Documents

1. Preparation of Video/Audio File:

  • Detailed Description: Ensure the video or audio content contains detailed descriptions of each part, including physical characteristics, materials, and potential uses.
  • Sequential Presentation: Present each part in a logical sequence, ideally grouped by categories or systems if applicable.

2. File Uploading and Compatibility:

  • Supported Formats: Verify that your video or audio file format is supported by KARDA (e.g., MP4, AVI, MP3, WAV).
  • Processing Time: Be aware of the processing time required for the AI to analyze and transcribe the file. This can vary based on file length and complexity.
  • File Quality: High-quality files lead to better transcription accuracy. Ensure good audio clarity and video resolution.

3. Structuring the TP Document:

  • Logical Flow: Organize the content into sections, such as Purpose, References, Equipment, Process/Protocol (Risk Assessment, Quality Control Plan, Quality Assessment).
  • Step-by-Step Instructions: Clearly outline the steps of the test procedure in a sequential and easy-to-follow manner.

4. Technical and Detailed Information:

  • Specifications and Parameters: Include detailed specifications of test materials, equipment, and parameters.
  • Visual Aids: If the video contains useful visuals or demonstrations, incorporate these as diagrams, flowcharts, or images in the TP document.

5. Enhancing Clarity and Precision:

  • Use of Clear Language: Ensure the language used is clear, precise, and devoid of ambiguity. Technical jargon should be explained or defined.

6. Validation and Compliance:

  • Cross-Referencing Standards: Ensure the test protocol aligns with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Expert Review: Have the document reviewed by a technical expert or a quality assurance specialist to validate its accuracy and completeness. Utilize KARDA’s in-house document sharing.

7. Final Review and Formatting:

  • Inclusion of Appendices: Appendices can include supplementary materials, raw data formats, or sample calculation sheets.

8. Legal and Ethical Considerations:

  • Confidentiality and Data Protection: Be mindful of confidential information and proprietary methodologies that may be included in the test protocol.
  • Ethical Standards: Ensure that the test protocol adheres to ethical standards, particularly in sensitive industries like pharmaceuticals or environmental testing.

9. Distribution and Documentation Control:

  • Accessible Formats: Choose file formats that are widely accessible and compatible with different systems (e.g., PDF, DOCX).
  • Controlled Distribution: Plan for the secure and controlled distribution of the TP document to relevant stakeholders.

10. Maintenance and Revision Management:

  • Update Procedures: Establish procedures for regularly updating the TP document to reflect changes in test methods, equipment, or standards.
  • Version Control: Implement a version control system to track changes and ensure that the most current protocol is always in use. KARDA will label your document as the first version.
